Founded by Kalena Yiaueki, Penny Projects was launched in March 2024. Since launching Black Image Center in 2020, a non-profit where Kalena serves as co-executive director, she has found it essential to integrate humanity into her work. After 15 years of freelancing in the industry and working for renowned production companies in New York, Los Angeles, and Paris, she established Penny Projects, a Los Angeles-based production company with the capability to produce projects worldwide.
